Lavender Festival continues

The McKenzie River Lavender Festival got off to a good start today for the first of a 3-day event held this weekend at 40882 McKenzie Hwy., just east of Walterville. The free festival at the McKenzie River Lavender is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. where the air is filled with the aroma of lavender and bees are humming in the field. The farm's specialty lavender products include fresh bouquets of ‘Grosso’ lavender in season, pure essential oil and linen spray, unique lavender crafts, soaps, lotions and more.
