Happy New Year,

I'm sure you all are rested and ready to tackle the new year! I know I  am.

Our athletes didn't have quite the rest we did as they were busy  representing our Eagles around the state. The boys competed in 5  contests over the break culminating in a 5th place finish at the 1A  Hoops Classic in Portland. Our girls were a little bit busier with 6  games during the break. They came away with a 4th place finish at the  Hoops Classic. Buggy Hiddleston was named to the all tournament team for  her efforts in Portland.

Our basketball teams dive head first into league action as the new year  begins.

This Saturday will be the Middle School girls basketball teams last  games as they compete in the League Tournament held in both of our gyms.  There will be nine teams competing. It is sure to be a great day of fun  for our kids. Come check it out. You might even find yourself running  the scoreboard!

One final thought...Oregon 59, FSU 20.  WOW!
