Gate closed at Saddle Dam

Last Friday, the U.S. Forest Service closed the gate at Saddle Dam due to low water levels in the Blue River Reservoir to protect the reservoir basin from off road vehicles. The boat launch at the Saddle Dam has closed in the past when water levels reach a certain depth – but not typically at this early in the year.
