McKenzie River Reflections - Make the McKenzie Connection!

On January 26, 2020 at approximately 9:50 a.m., the Lane County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a deceased female at Terwilliger Hot Springs off Forest Service Road 19 in eastern Lane County.? Investigation indicates that a 25-year-old female had been at the hot springs with two friends when she experienced a medical event.? Lifesaving efforts were initiated by bystanders and taken over by Upper McKenzie Rural Fire Protection District personnel before the woman was pronounced deceased.

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office and the Lane County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the death.? The Lane County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet determined cause and manner of death.?

After the family was able to make notifications on Wednesday, the Sheriff’s Office identified her as Kaylee Marie Price of Florence.
