Oregon State Police Report - May 27

May 23: 09:54: Warrant Arrest. Troopers were conducting a boat patrol on the McKenzie River below Leaburg Dam. During the patrol, an angler was contacted on the river’s bank. The angler did not have a 2021 resident angling license. A records check revealed a Felony warrant out of Lane County for Possession of Methamphetamine. The angler was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Lane County Jail. The angler was also issued a violation citation for No Resident Angling License. Involved: 55-year-old male from Eugene.

May 24: 15:30: Crash, Non-Injury – Hwy. 126E, Milepost 22. Dispatched to a non-injury motor vehicle crash. Prior to arrival, learned that there was minor damage to both vehicles. The drivers were given a copy of the driver exchange information and both vehicles were able to drive away under their own power. Involved: gray Ford F35, white RAM 350, 54-year-old male from Myrtle Point, 62-year-old male from Cave Creek, AZ.
