OSP Reports - November 28

Nov. 19: 15:23: Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants – A reported driving complaint was received and information provided that the driver had stopped in Cedar Flat. The driver was contacted, found to be impaired, and arrested for DUII. He was unable to perform field sobriety test due to partially amputated foot. The suspect was taken to Springfield Municipal Jail where he provided a breath sample indicating his BAC to be 0.18%. The driver was cited and released for Driving While Suspended-M, DUII and cited for failure to install an Ignition Interlock Device. He was dropped off at Riverbend Hospital for treatment to his foot. Involved: silver/aluminium Jeep Grand Cherokee, 62-year-old male from Bend.

18:06: Crash, Non-Injury – Milepost 9, Hwy. 126E. Dispatched regarding a vehicle versus deer collision. Driver #1 was traveling eastbound and was unable to avoid colliding with a deer running across the roadway. Driver #1 was not injured. Involved: red Toyota Prius, 43-year-old female. A Trooper dispatched the deer.

Nov. 21: 12:58: Traffic Crimes, All Except DUII – Hwy. 126E, Milepost 38. A crash involving road rage was reported. A physical altercation occurred with one individual striking another with a rock. During the altercation, a tire was also slashed with a knife. The road rage continued until one of the vehicles caused the other to crash and roll over into the ditch. Both parties sustained minor injuries during this incident. Both were issued criminal citations in lieu of custody for multiple crimes. Arrested, citation/warning issued: Berret Brown, 39. Arrested, citation/warning issued: Marshall Kinkead, 19, Blue River. Involved: red Ford 150, silver/aluminum Nissan Pathfinder.
