Art Tour

The Maude Kerns Art Center’s 2nd annual Art Studio Tour will take place on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1910 E. 15th Avenue at the corner of 15th and Villard. This year’s tour features six special studios—Whiteaker Printmakers, Clay Space, John Rose Studio, Chris Paulson Studio, Wildling Collaborative Arts, and Jud Turner’s Oblivion Factory—and showcases 31 artists working in a wide variety of mediums.

AMADEUS

Attention all Lane County Mozart lovers! The 1984 blockbuster film AMADEUS will be playing at the Art House (former Bijou) this coming Saturday night, April 26th, for one showing only at 6 p.m.

The long-lived theater in a 1925 former church at 492 E 13th Ave ,. in Eugene is a 2-screen art house cinema, resurrected and re-imagined as a multi-use venue. Café by day, low-key bar at night, with movies and events

EWEB Dinner

The Eugene Water & Electric Board will host a dinner and conversations about “Investing Today for a Resilient Tomorrow” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on May 15th at the Walterville Community Center. Utility commissioners, staff, and the public will sit down to discuss a range of topics, such as efforts to protect the McKenzie River, managing hydropower resources, planned rate changes, and residents' concerns. Also on the agenda is an Open House session to discuss programs for McKenzie Valley customers with staff.
