Dory class returns

This year’s workshop began Sunday evening in Vida. The event, sponsored by the McKenzie River Discovery Center, is led by the Fretwater Boatworks crew from Flagstaff, Arizona – Brad Dimock, Cricket, and Glade Zarn.

During the school, twelve students from across the country will build two small whitewater dories – based on the first Colorado River dory built by McKenzie’s own Keith Steele in 1962. The workshop is set to concludes on Friday, November 7.
