Canine Calendar

Dog enthusiasts can now pick up a 2026 “Canines for Clean Water” calendar for free at various locations, according to Springfield city officials.

According to the City of Springfield’s Stormwater Team, the calendar highlights local dogs while promoting responsible pet ownership to protect local rivers. This year’s calendar features 12 dogs chosen from more than 160 photos submitted by Springfield residents.

“It’s a fun way to show how taking care of our rivers is also taking care of our dogs,” said Peter Jaeger, Environmental Services Technician.
