Shimmering Lights Launch the Holidays

Christmas lights pierced the darkness along the McKenzie River over the weekend as the valley launched into the 2025 holiday season. On Saturday night, upriver spectators watched a procession of festive rafts glide toward the annual lighting of the Belknap Covered Bridge. The following evening, a flotilla of decorated boats cast shimmering reflections across Leaburg Lake during the second annual Drift Boat Light Show upstream from the EWEB bridge.
