OSP Reports – Week of October 5

Oct. 6: 12:07: Crash, Non-Injury – Hwy. 126E, Milepost 22. Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash. A silver van was slowing down westbound to make a let turn into a driveway off the left shoulder. A white Chevrolet Tahoe was travelling behind the slowing van and moved over to the right lane to pass the van. As the van attempted a left turn, they swung wide right and side swiped the left front of the Tahoe with the van’s right front. Both vehicles moved off the roadway into a driveway. No injuries were reported. The van was towed due to damage to the right front tire. Involved: 51-yar-old male from Springfield, 76-year-old female from Eugene, Toyota Sienna, Chevy Tahoe.
