McKenzie River Reflections - Make the McKenzie Connection!

March 9, 2015

Our girls basketball season has come to end, but it was a great ride.

After suffering losses to North Douglas and Elkton our girls were  eliminated from the 2015 OSAA State Championships at Baker City. Buggy  Hiddleston was named the player of the game in each contest. We had a  great time and our girls represented all of you well with great effort  and sportsmanship. When you see them, please thank them for their fine  representation of our community.

This week will begin the Middle School boys league tournament. We will  host Lowell on Tuesday for a round 1 game. If victorious they'll travel  to Alsea on Thursday with a spot in the final four on the line. We will  be hosting the final four teams on Saturday beginning at 10am. It will  be another fun filled day at McKenzie and another opportunity to display  our wonderful school and community. I hope to see you then.

High School Baseball practice will begin tomorrow (Monday).

GO EAGLES!
