HOLE IN THE WALL BBQ

Our story begins in 1992, when Richard and Linda Becker moved back to Oregon from Arizona. After searching for great BBQ and not finding it, they began making plans to open the Eugene Hole in the Wall BBQ (1993)! Starting with a limited menu and limited hours, their growing amount of customers wanted an expanded menu, more hours and homemade southern favorites…so they did!
Richard and Linda were awarded the Regional Restaurateur of the Year (Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association) in 2008; then, subsequently, they received the Restaurateur of the Year for 2016 (ORLA)!
The increased popularity led them to add a second Hole in the Wall BBQ in Springfield (2008). At this point, Gary Rodgers entered the scene (currently the Managing Partner for the Becker Family). A native of Oregon, Gary brought a wealth of experience to the table; ranging from executive chef and managing positions for private clubs and restaurants (Stuart Anderson and Carrow’s) to one of the owners of three baseball card shops!
As the two restaurants flour-ished, their catering business grew, offering their services to almost any event; and a popular competitor at the Best of the West Cook-Off in Reno!
