    Last week was the start of our high school basketball season, and it was a busy week. Our boys finished the week 1-2 with a win over Trinity Lutheran. Our girls went 2-1 and captured the tournament title at Yoncalla with wins over Yoncalla and Lowell. Buggy Hiddleston and Katey Totten were selected to the All-tournament team. This will be another busy week with our boys playing 4 games and our girls with 3. We host Falls City on Tuesday for an OSAA Endowment game. (League Passes will not be accepted for this contest.)     Leaburg Hatchery Angling success is higher when fishing for hatchery raised trout than it is for trout grown in a more natural setting, even when that more natural environment is created in a hatchery. A recent study in Finland found that brown trout grown in a normal hatchery environment are more vulnerable to anglers because they have a greater tendency to explore and to grab at any food supply they see.
